COVID-19 has changed the face of events for years to come. As venues open and events begin to come back, event organisers will be tackling ongoing social distancing measures that might curtail attendee numbers, consumer confidence and the pivot to virtual events that some portions of your customer-base may prefer. Whilst the majority are keen to get back to physical events, for the time being a virtual component will be a main-stay of our industry.

Going forward hybrid events will enable a safe and enjoyable physical experience for attendees, partners and sponsors, but also offer increased reach to an online audience that are now much more comfortable with consuming events online. Hybrid events do not simply consist of live streaming your physical event; done right they give a similar and full-service experience to those online that those who are attending physically are part of, and give you an additional revenue stream and treasure-trove of data.
